On May 14th, the Second Sichuan Province Teaching Innovation Competition for Teachers From Ordinary Undergraduate Universities, sponsored by Sichuan Provincial Education Department, organized by Sichuan Provincial Higher Education Association, and led by Southwest Jiaotong University, came to a close in Xipu Campus of our university. Associate Professor Liu Feng and his team won the second prize of Sichuan Province by taking the Ideological Morality and the Rule of Law course, as expected.
Ideological Morality and the Rule of Law course is an ideological and political theory course that carries out the education of Marxist world outlook, outlook on life, values, morality, and the rule of law, guiding university students to improve their ideological and moral quality as well as the rule of law. It is of glorious mission and great significance to speak well the Ideological Morality and the Rule of Law course. Associate Professor Liu Feng and his team have gradually built a new teaching model of ‘Jiaotong +’ for the Ideological Morality and the Rule of Law course after long-term exploration in promoting the teaching reform and innovation of this course. Under the guidance of experts and carefully polished by Liu Feng’s team, they presented judges and universities across the Province the concept, ideas, practices, and results of the new teaching model of ‘Jiaotong +’ in this competition, highlighting the distinctive characteristics of ‘Jiaotong’ ideological and political thinking, which has been praised unanimously.
The School will continue to make continuous efforts to promote the teaching reform and innovation of ideological and political courses, and continue to enhance the ideological and political courses’ ideological content, theoretical content, practicability, and pertinence, so as to truly build ideological and political courses into excellent courses that students truly love, benefit from, and will never forget.
